- I have an Amiga 2000, with an A2091 disk controller (7.0 ROMs) with
- 2MB RAM. I also have a Fusion Forty 68040 card, with a 68010 in the
- Amiga's CPU socket. I'm running AmigaDOS 3.1
-
- I shut down my system to add a 3rd hard disk (a Fujitsu 1.08 GB disk),
- and forgot to change it's SCSI ID. When I tried to boot my system
- (with 2 disks thinking they were SCSI ID 0), it didn't work.
-
- After I changed the Fujitsu's SCSI ID, I could boot from floppy,
- low-level format the Fujitsu, partition and format the Fujitsu, but...
- the A2091 would not boot from either my former boot HD or the Fujitsu.
- When the jumper was in the "auto-boot" position, my system wouldn't
- even boot from floppy! In "auto-boot disabled", it would boot from
- floppy. I even re-installed AmigaDOS 3.1 from the original floppies -
- still no auto-boot.
-
- I'm unable to get the Fusion Forty 68040 to work, so am running in
- 68010 mode.
-
- I'm not sure, but I may have plugged the SCSI cable in backwards, too.
-
- Twice since I got that far, my system has locked up with the A2091 LED
- and the Fujistu's LED lit.
-
- Can anybody suggest what I fried on my A2091 card?
-
- Can anybody suggest where I could get replacement chips?
-
- Thanks,
-
